Scenario: Self (a speculative self-fiction and futuring workshop)
Saturday, November 22nd, 15:30-17:30
What stories about yourself do you keep returning to?
Which ones feel tired, and which ones are still becoming?
This is a soft little futures workshop to untangle the scripts that keep us stuck, imagine otherwise, and try on different futures.
No big group work. No fixing.
Just solo time to imagine something new.
We’ll write, breathe, maybe draw, or just sit with the worms.
You’ll be guided through a few quiet experiments:
✶ noticing the narratives that shape you now
✶ imagining your future self in new, beautiful possibilities
✶ creating a small literary artefact for what’s emerging: a poem, letter, mantra, or fragment from that future
Think: speculative self-inquiry meets quiet future-making.
Just a tiny opening, with tea.
You don’t have to share anything out loud.
You don’t need any previous writing or futures experience.
Just bring a pen, a story you’re tired of, and whatever shape your heart is in that day.
The workshop is hosted by Bianca Muresan, a futures designer and facilitator interested in the spaces where imagination meets reflection meets care.
