environmental discussion club with a creative twist
Wednesday April 22nd, 18:30-20:00
How do we work with sustainability in architecture when it is understood not simply through metrics and technical solutions, but through the ways humans live with and care for their environments? Three Danish architectural practices and Joan Tronto's care ethics will help us think together how architecture may move beyond the rationale of reduction. In more relational and care-oriented building and inhabiting, sustainability becomes less about numbers and more about ongoing practices of attentiveness, maintenance, repair, and responsiveness.
This session's guest speaker, Thorbjørn Lønberg Petersen, PhD, is an architect who works with the practices of the built environment and sustainability.
hosted by Ruxy and Ela
