Celebrating multicultural perspectives in an Icelandic context

On Sunday the 20th of July, Elinóra Guðmundsdóttir, editor, and Ásdís Sól Ágústsdóttir, translator of the book Her Voice: Stories of Women of Foreign Origin in Iceland, will chat about the book and its multicultural perspectives from migrant women in Iceland. 

Her Voice: Stories of Women of Foreign Origin in Iceland is a 504 page bilingual (Icelandic & English) book, featuring photographs by photographer Kaja Sigvalda, that was published in February 2025 in Iceland by Vía publishing. The editors of the book are Elinóra Guðmundsdóttir, Chanel Björk Sturludóttir and Elínborg Kolbeinsdóttir. Translator is Ásdís Sól Ágústsdóttir and Designers are Kolbeinn Jara Hamíðsson and Þorgeir K. Blöndal.
