A summer quickie writing group to: pick up that unfinished project, get unstuck on the “WIP” piece, or figure out where to even start, facilitated by Fahmida, whose sparky wits and gentle heart will be the most tremendous guide to the summer of writing.

This writing club is designed to be a short burst of energy to get us unstuck in our writing projects / aspirations. We’ll meet for 4 consecutive Tuesdays in the summer, work on our individual projects, have a bit of time for writing prompts and short fun exercises to lubricate our minds and synapses for (hopefully) new sparks for our creative minds. 

What can you expect? 

• A small cute writing group who encourages and cheers you on! No to any pressure, but yes to accountability 

• A weekly space to bring your work to get feedback, to do the brave thing of slowly inviting people into the messy, to see where your creative mind can go next with some input and thoughts

• Weekly inspirational readings/excerpts by Palestinian authors/creators to open up our minds

• Collaborative inspiration! We share what inspires us with each other
